A square in the center of Lublin, covering an area of approximately 35,000 m², created in the 1820s for military parades.
The square's original purpose is reflected in its former name – the Drill Square. Litewski Square is a central location in Lublin, hosting state ceremonies, happenings, and various events. It is also the site where the agreement between the estates of the Kingdom of Poland and the Grand Duchy of Lithuania was signed on July 1, 1569, during the Lublin Union Sejm.
